We are the Amati Distributor for the USA and we carry every thing Amati offers: Historic Ship kits, Victory Model kits, Figurines, Tools and Fittings; Beginner to Advanced Ship Models, Ships in Bottles, and Other Special Models Not Seen Elsewhere.

If you need to call us for any reason, we have a 24-hour operator ready to take your call. But, if you want to reach someone in the shop, best time to call is during our store hours:

Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Pacific Time

Visiting Us

We do have a physical store in San Lorenzo, CA. But, due to current COVID restrictions, access will be limited until further notice. So, for the time being, if you’d like to visit our shop and spend some time browsing through an enormous selection of ship model kits, fittings, books, tools, supplies, and other products we carry, please call us for an appointment. Only one customer will be allowed in the store at one time

    • Hello Claire, that is a model of the 17th century Swedish Wasa (or Vasa). She foundered and sank a short ways into her maiden voyage in 1628. She was a highly ornate ship and there are several kits of her available. The one shown is, I believe, based on a kit from Corel of Italy.
